La necropoli nazionale di Verdun "Glorieux" contiene i resti dei soldati morti per la Francia durante i combattimenti nella regione di Verdun nel 1914-1918. Creato nel 1916, il cimitero è stato ridisegnato nel 1967 per riunire i corpi di altri soldati caduti nel settore di Verdun, in particolare quelli esumati nel 1983 dal cimitero di Fromereville. Con una superficie di 20.579 m2, la necropoli nazionale contiene più di 4.000 corpi di soldati francesi e 2 britannici del periodo 1914-1918.
