La cappella era un tempo luogo di pellegrinaggio. È stata ampiamente restaurata e conserva l'abside a tre lati. Il suo nome viene menzionato per la prima volta nel 1274, quando un certo Jean de la Garde d'Angers prese in affitto enfiteutico un vigneto appartenente all'Abbazia di Chaloché, che a sua volta lo aveva ricevuto da Hugues de Matheflon. Hugues Lejean, uno dei primi signori, fondò su questo sito una cappella nel 1320, dedicata alla Vergine e a tutti i santi.
