La Gallia era, secondo la nomenclatura geografica dell'età antica, la terra dei Galli, termine che identificava, nel lessico latino, un ampio insieme di popolazioni celtiche continentali. Corrispondeva a un'ampia regione dell'Europa centro-occidentale compresa tra La Manica, il fiume Reno, le Alpi Occidentali, il Mar Mediterraneo, i Pirenei e l'Oceano Atlantico. "Gallia" venne poi definita dai Romani per un certo periodo in età repubblicana anche parte dell'Italia settentrionale.
