La Quarta Repubblica francese , è lo Stato che si venne a costituire in Francia dopo la seconda guerra mondiale con la stesura della quarta costituzione repubblicana.
Nata il 13 ottobre 1946 con l'approvazione della nuova costituzione, per molti aspetti essa apparve nient'altro che la continuazione della Terza Repubblica, soprattutto considerato il quadro di uguale instabilità politica che caratterizzò le due fasi.
