La torre romanica esagonale dell'ex chiesa di Usselskirch è sopravvissuta a 1000 anni di storia e rimane un enigma archeologico. La forma, l'altezza e l'arcata cieca sono insolite. La grande chiesa del XVIII secolo, classificata come monumento storico nel 1930, non è sopravvissuta ai bombardamenti della vicina Linea Maginot durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Ma i muri spessi 1,40 metri della vecchia torre sì. Ai piedi della torre sono visibili otto stazioni (delle quattordici originarie) della Via Crucis del XVII secolo
Insolito: su un lato della torre, una testa di statua romana o precristiana.
