Le abitazioni del XVI e XVII secolo sono inserite in un cortile chiuso e difeso da due torri (in precedenza tre). La vecchia dimora (XVI secolo) fu ristrutturata nel XVI secolo da Briand des Gittons, nominato Cavaliere di Malta nel 1549 e Comandante di Mauléon nel 1580. La dimora del XVII secolo fu probabilmente costruita su progetto di François Le Duc, detto Toscane, nel 1697. Egli fu l'architetto dell'abbazia di Celles, del convento carmelitano di Niort, dell'abbazia di Saint-Maixent e dell'abbazia di Saint-Savin sur Gartempe. I proprietari erano la famiglia Le Coq de Saint-Léger.
Il grande porto passò alla famiglia de Bremonds d'Ars per matrimonio nel 1704 e all'attuale proprietario per matrimonio. Dal 1980 è oggetto di un importante programma di restauro. La colombaia, la più grande della regione di Mellois, contiene 2.000 cassette.
