Lescar è la prima capitale gallo-romana del Béarn, situata a 8 km a ovest di Pau.
Sulla collina, la città medievale con il suo ricco patrimonio vi aspetta per scoprire la storia delle origini della nostra regione. A solo 1 km dal centro, l'incantevole Lac des Carolins offre un incantevole angolo di verde, con tavoli da picnic sotto gli alberi e aree gioco per bambini: un luogo bucolico dove fare una pausa. Dal lago partono diversi sentieri e in loco sono disponibili servizi igienici pubblici. Di fronte all'area si trova lo zoo di Lescar, con il suo snack bar.
