Situato sul punto più alto del comune (90 m. di altezza) e ai margini della foresta di Chizé, è l'unico mulino a vento funzionante nel sud delle Deux-Sévres
Questo vecchio mulino banale, la cui esistenza è menzionata già nel 1482, dipendeva dalla signoria di Raimbault fino alla Rivoluzione. L'ultimo mugnaio, Louis Royer, morì negli anni Settanta. Nel 1973, "Les Amis du Moulin de Raimbault" hanno restaurato il tetto, le ali, una delle tre macine e il meccanismo interno (sistema Berton). Nel 1975 è stato inserito nell'elenco e l'associazione per la conservazione del mulino ha ricevuto il premio "Capolavoro in pericolo". Dal 1989 "gira e fa farina". Il comune lo ha acquisito nel 2004.
Oggi il sito è rianimato per eventi e viene anche affittato per le feste.
