Charleville-Mézières è diventata la Capitale Mondiale delle Marionette grazie all'organizzazione di un evento importante per la vita culturale e artistica del nostro Paese: il Festival Mondiale dei Teatri di Marionette, che è diventato il luogo di incontro fondamentale per i marionettisti di tutto il mondo.Ogni due anni, in un'atmosfera festosa e amichevole, centinaia di burattinai e migliaia di spettatori si impadroniscono della città e la trasformano in un gigantesco castelletto: le marionette tradizionali si incontrano e dialogano con le forme più contemporanee e audaci di oggi. L'associazione organizza anche il "Weekend delle Marionette J-365" ogni due anni e numerose attività culturali intorno a quest'arte durante tutto l'anno.
