Per offrire agli escursionisti una visione diversa del Thouet, il Syndicat Mixte de la Vallée du Thouet ha voluto valorizzare le sponde del fiume installando opere d'arte permanenti. Nell'ambito di una commissione pubblica del Ministero della Cultura francese e con il sostegno del centro artistico Chapelle Jeanne d'Arc di Thouars, nel 2019 sono state realizzate tre opere. Una seconda tranche, comprendente tre siti nei comuni di Saint-Généroux, Airvault e Saint-Loup-Lamairé, è stata consegnata nel settembre 2022 con il progetto "Ricochets" di Hugues REIP. Per queste ultime tre opere, il primo gesto è materializzato dalla fusione in bronzo del sasso che genera il primo rimbalzo. Anche lo spruzzo d'acqua risultante dall'impatto è in bronzo patinato e cerato, a simulare il metallo liquido.
