Situato in un ambiente naturale di 11 ettari, il museo ripercorre la vita e il lavoro dei nostri antenati nella foresta. - All'interno di un edificio di accoglienza, interamente in legno, su palafitte, si scoprono 7 sale museali completamente automatizzate con temi diversi. -All'esterno, lungo un sentiero forestale di 800 metri, commentato da un'audioguida in 2 lingue, 35 rappresentazioni con personaggi in legno che animano le attività forestali. Una collezione di oltre 4600 attrezzi e macchine. Possibilità di fare picnic (gratuito) nella foresta. Sono ammessi animali domestici. Tutte queste attività si svolgono in un'area ricreativa sicura nella parte esterna del Museo della Foresta.Orario: Aperto da martedì a domenica da aprile a ottobre dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 (senza interruzioni). Chiuso il lunedì.
