Parco privato
Intorno al 1802, il futuro barone dell'Impero, Mathieu de Faviers, acquistò un antico castello feudale situato su un contrafforte dei Vosgi, sotto il quale fece costruire un maniero. Sul pendio tra la residenza del Direttorio e la fortezza "gotica", Faviers aveva un "giardino da tavolo" allestito secondo i modelli in voga dalla fine del XVIII secolo.
Si dovevano progettare i futuri prati, piantare le sponde del ruscello, tagliare la foresta per fornire gli accessi e le viste necessarie... La rovina in arenaria rosa orienta le prospettive, oltre il romantico percorso del parco, e questa monumentale "fabbrica" è oggi animata dalla "Volerie des aigles".
