Il castello di Épanvilliers, un tempo residenza della marchesa di Montalembert, si trova nel dipartimento di Vienne. Costruito tra il XVI e il XVIII secolo, presenta due padiglioni e due ali. Sebbene la cappella dell'ala sud abbia perso tutte le sue decorazioni, gli attuali proprietari hanno ristrutturato una ventina di stanze, avendo cura di preservarne lo spirito originale.
Oggi il castello è un museo dedicato ai giochi antichi. Vi si trovano principalmente esposizioni sui giochi del passato, con oggetti, manufatti e ricostruzioni legati ai passatempi medievali e, in alcuni casi, addirittura preistorici. Le sale tematiche accompagnano i visitatori in una spedizione archeologica nel mondo del tempo libero dei nostri antenati, evidenziando l'evoluzione dei giochi nel corso dei secoli.
