La Torre Eiffel, Tour Eiffel in francese, è una torre formata da una struttura reticolata di ferro, situata al Campo di Marte - in francese, Champ de Mars - all'estremità che si affaccia sulla Senna, non lontano dal fiume).
È stata eretta in occasione dell'Esposizione Universale di Parigi, secondo il design dell'ingegnere Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, e ha rappresentato una pietra miliare nella costruzione in ferro. Anche se doveva essere smontata non appena finita questa esposizione, si decise infine di non farlo.
