Sentiero sulle tracce del monaco irlandese San Florente che scelse di vivere da eremita in Alsazia. Attirò numerosi discepoli. Diventato il settimo vescovo di Strasburgo, fece costruire un monastero a Niederhaslach. Molto più tardi, la collegiata fu eretta sulle sue terre, la cappella fu costruita nel luogo della sua casa. Ancora oggi, è un luogo di pellegrinaggio.
