Dal punto di partenza dell'albergo del Gsang, una bella passeggiata circolare fino alle rocce di Vogelstein. L'albergo del Gsang è una porta d'ingresso al Massiccio del Rossberg. Un sentiero fiancheggiato da magnifici aceri da pascolo conduce attraverso i pascoli e prosegue sul GR5 fino alle rocce di Vogelsteine. Queste sovrastano la riserva naturale della Foresta dei vulcani di Weigscheid, vero museo naturale della geologia.
