Mitre Square è una piccola piazza nella City di Londra. Misura circa 77 piedi per 80 piedi ed è collegata tramite tre passaggi con Mitre Street a sud-ovest, con Creechurch Place a nord-ovest e, tramite St James's Passage, con Duke's Place a nord-est.
La piazza occupa il sito del chiostro del Priore della Santissima Trinità, Aldgate, che fu demolito sotto Enrico VIII al tempo della Dissoluzione dei Monasteri. L'angolo sud della piazza fu il luogo dell'omicidio di Catherine Eddowes da parte di "Jack lo Squartatore". Il suo corpo mutilato fu trovato lì alle 1:45 del mattino del 30 settembre 1888. Questo fu l'omicidio più occidentale dei delitti di Whitechapel e l'unico situato all'interno della City.
