Il Castello di Okehampton è un castello medievale a motte e bailey nel Devon, Inghilterra. Fu costruito tra il 1068 e il 1086 da Baldwin FitzGilbert in seguito a una rivolta nel Devon contro il dominio normanno e divenne il centro dell'Onore di Okehampton, a guardia di un punto di attraversamento del fiume West Okement. Continuò ad essere utilizzato come fortificazione fino alla fine del XIII secolo, quando i suoi proprietari, i de Courtenay, divennero Conti di Devon. Con la loro nuova ricchezza, ridisegnarono il castello come una lussuosa villa di caccia, costruendo un nuovo parco per cervi che si estendeva a sud del castello e realizzando alloggi alla moda che sfruttavano le viste sul paesaggio. I de Courtenay prosperarono e il castello fu ulteriormente ampliato per ospitare la loro crescente famiglia.
