La cava di Gurney Slade, riferimento della griglia ST626497, è una cava di calcare situata vicino a Gurney Slade, tra Binegar e Holcombe, sulle colline di Mendip, Somerset, Inghilterra.
La cava di Gurney Slade presenta un calcare carbonifero di colore grigio chiaro a molto scuro, sovrastato da brecce e marne di colore rosso e viola del Triassico, con un piccolo blocco fratturato di brecce giurassiche inferiori che forma un'inconformità angolare con il calcare carbonifero. Ci sono abbondanti fessure e giunti infillati da sedimenti verticali. Le rocce contengono quantità variabili di mineralizzazione di calcite, e vi è un comune materiale fossile associato ai calcari carboniferi e giurassici. Il calcare all'interno della cava scende verso sud-est a circa 30°.
