Il castello di Wareham e le difese cittadine, conosciute localmente come le Mura, erano fortificazioni nella città di Wareham nel Dorset, Inghilterra.
Il sito della città di Wareham era probabilmente occupato nel periodo pre-romano e vi fu stabilito un insediamento romano, approfittando della sua posizione strategica lungo il fiume Frome. Fu conquistato dai Sassoni alla fine del VI secolo e, entro la fine del IX secolo, era diventato uno dei burh anglosassoni più importanti del Dorset. I burh erano siti difensivi creati dal re Alfredo il Grande e da suo figlio Edoardo il Vecchio per difendere i confini del regno di Wessex, anche se il lavoro a Wareham potrebbe aver potenzialmente costruito su difese esistenti.
