El Castillo de Wareham y las defensas de la ciudad, conocidas localmente como las Murallas, eran fortificaciones en la ciudad de Wareham en Dorset, Inglaterra.
El sitio de la ciudad de Wareham probablemente fue ocupado en el período prerromano y allí se estableció un asentamiento romano, aprovechando su ubicación estratégica a lo largo del río Frome. Fue tomado por los sajones a finales del siglo VI y, para finales del siglo IX, se había convertido en uno de los burhs anglosajones más importantes en Dorset. Los burhs eran sitios defensivos creados por el rey Alfredo el Grande y su hijo Eduardo el Viejo para defender las fronteras del reino de Wessex, aunque el trabajo en Wareham puede haber construido sobre defensas existentes.
