Il fiume Poddle è un fiume a Dublino, Irlanda, una piscina che ha dato alla città il suo nome in lingua inglese. Potenziato da un canale realizzato dall'Abbazia di San Tommaso à Becket, che prende acqua dal molto più grande fiume Dodder, il Poddle è stata la principale fonte di acqua potabile per la città per più di 500 anni, a partire dal 1240. Il Poddle, che scorre interamente all'interno del tradizionale Contea di Dublino, è uno dei circa cento membri del sistema del fiume Liffey e uno di oltre 135 corsi d'acqua nella contea; ha soltanto un significativo affluente naturale, il Commons Water di Crumlin.
