Ramelton, conosciuta anche come Rathmelton, è una città e una località nella Contea di Donegal, Irlanda. Nel 2016, la sua popolazione era di 1.266.
Ramelton è situata alla foce del fiume Lennon, 11 km a nord di Letterkenny e 4 km a sud di Milford, sulle sponde occidentali di Lough Swilly. La città prende il nome da Ráth Mealtain, un antico capo gaelico. Si dice che il forte si trovi sotto le rovine di un castello medievale degli O'Donnell, la famiglia dominante del West Donegal prima del loro esilio nel continente europeo nel 1607.
