Il territorio si estende sul punto di transizione tra la pianura veneta e l'area collinare sovrastante che anticipa le prealpi bellunesi .
Se quindi la metà meridionale, con Villa d'Asolo e Casella, è completamente pianeggiante, con altitudini che variano tra gli 80 e i 100 m s.l.m. , la metà settentrionale si caratterizza per la presenza di modesti rilievi che culminano con i 379 m del poggio San Martino, a nordest. Il capoluogo stesso si arrocca tra le colline, affacciandosi sulla pianura sottostante, e il municipio è a quota 210 m. Meno elevate le colline dell'area occidentale dove sorge Pagnano .
