Alzano Lombardo [alˈʣaːno lomˈbardo] è un comune italiano di 13 346 abitanti della provincia di Bergamo in Lombardia. Il comune è situato a circa cinque chilometri a nord-est del capoluogo orobico e fa parte della Comunità montana della Valle Seriana.
Il territorio comunale di Alzano Lombardo è interamente situato sulla destra orografica della val Seriana, ad un'altezza di circa 304 m s.l.m. È delimitato a Sud e Sud-Est dal corso del fiume Serio, che lo divide dal comune di Villa di Serio ed a Nord dallo spartiacque con la val Brembana dato dai monti Filaressa, Cavallo e Canto Basso. Ad Est sono il monte Podona, nel tratto più a monte, ed il torrente Luio, in quello più a valle fino alla confluenza con il fiume Serio, a suddividerlo da Nembro, mentre ad Ovest confina con Ponteranica, tramite i monti Solino e Luvrida, e con Ranica mediante il monte Zuccone ed il torrente Nesa fino allo sbocco di quest'ultimo nel Serio.
