Goito è un comune italiano di 10 061 abitanti della provincia di Mantova in Lombardia. Fa parte dei comuni dell'Alto Mantovano. Per estensione si trova al terzo posto tra i comuni della provincia di Mantova.
La località è sempre stata un importante snodo viario, vista la sua posizione strategica sulla sponda destra del Mincio, lungo tre direttrici principali: la "strada napoleonica interprovinciale Mantova-Brescia" , il percorso che collega Mantova e il lago di Garda e il tracciato dell'antica via Postumia fra Cremona e Verona .
