Il paesaggio è quello tipico della Franciacorta. Situato poco dopo il lago d'Iseo, il territorio comunale è formato da un'ampia campagna pianeggiante coltivata a vite e granturco, delimitata a ovest dal fiume Oglio che fa da confine naturale con la provincia di Bergamo. Il comune fa pertanto parte del Parco dell'Oglio. A nord e a est si trovano le colline moreniche a ridosso delle quali è sorto l'antico borgo.
