Chi risale percorrendo la strada Provinciale n. 422 trova a sinistra, appena a monte di Macra , una diramazione che porta, dopo una breve discesa, a superare il torrente Maira per proseguire verso Celle ed Albaretto. Tralasciando il bivio per Albaretto, la strada raggiunge il punto in cui confluiscono il Vallone Intersile e il vallone Tibert , percorsi dalle acque provenienti rispettivamente dalle pendici di Punta Tempesta e di Monte Tibert . La strada principale tiene a mano sinistra e, con numerosi tornati che toccano le borgate di Bassura e Paschero, giunge al capoluogo e si trova nella Borgata Chiesa , correttamente indicato col nome Celle benché a questo spetti la specificazione di Macra all'intero del comprensorio comunale.
