Santu Lussurgiu è un comune italiano di 2 293 abitanti della provincia di Oristano in Sardegna.Il suo nome deriva dal santo-soldato Lussorio, martirizzato nel 303 o nel 304 sotto l'imperatore romano Diocleziano. Il nome del santo viene citato per la prima volta in un documento del 559 indirizzato da papa Gregorio Magno al vescovo di Cagliari Gianuario.
