Il territorio agazzanese si estende per complessivi 3588 ha ad un'altitudine media di 184 m s.l.m. in una zona prevalentemente collinare dove l'alta pianura Padana lascia spazio alle prime propaggini dei rilievi dell'Appennino ligure. Il comune è posizionato tra la val Luretta, dove si trova il capoluogo, e la val Tidone ad ovest; i due torrenti segnano rispettivamente il confine del territorio agazzanese a ovest e a est .
