Il territorio del comune di Cianciana confina a nord e a est con il territorio di Alessandria della Rocca, a sud-est con quello di Sant'Angelo Muxaro, a sud con quello di Cattolica Eraclea, a sud-ovest con quello di Ribera e ad ovest con quello di Bivona. I limiti del territorio coincidono in gran parte con segni geografici ben definiti, costituiti ad est dal Vallone Cinié, ad ovest, da nord verso sud, dal Vallone Intronata, Millaga e Cavalieri, a sud dal fiume Platani.
