Sorge a est di Agrigento, capoluogo della medesima provincia, a sud di Caltanissetta e di Sommatino , a nord della vicina Licata e a est della vicinissima, distante solamente 4 km, Campobello di Licata. Ravanusa dista 50 km da Agrigento e 20 km dalle spiagge di Licata, a cui è collegata con una superstrada a Scorrimento Veloce che si percorre in 20 minuti circa.
