Pralormo è un comune italiano di 1 893 abitanti della città metropolitana di Torino in Piemonte. È il comune più sudorientale della città metropolitana.
Il paese si adagia su una collina situata in un'area di transizione tra le estreme propaggini del Pianalto e l'inizio del Roero. Il toponimo è la sintesi di due parole pratum ad ulmum, nome invalso probabilmente dalla tradizione longobarda di piantare piante in punti simbolici dell'abitato. L'ultimo esemplare monumentale occupava l'angolo posto tra via Carlo Morbelli e piazza Vittorio Emanuele II: fu abbattuto da un fulmine ad inizio Novecento .
