Montegiordano è un comune italiano di 1 691 abitanti della provincia di Cosenza. Il paese è diviso in due nuclei abitativi, Montegiordano Centro a 619 metri s.l.m., e la frazione Marina, a 20 metri s.l.m. che si sviluppa proprio adiacente alla costa jonica. Il suo territorio era già abitato in epoche remote, come testimoniato da importanti ritrovamenti di epoca romana e greca.
Attualmente è una località turistica, settore che può essere considerato uno dei più promettenti nel futuro di questo piccolo centro nord calabrese.
