La chiesa a sala del 1879 fu costruita secondo il progetto dei fratelli J. e J. Posthumus. Gli architetti si lasciarono ispirare da uno stile architettonico neogotico inglese. L'ex chiesa fu ristrutturata nel 1977 in un edificio residenziale e commerciale. L'organo del 1845 fu realizzato da L. van Dam e Figli. La cassa dell'organo fu utilizzata nel 1978 per un organo nella Noorderkerk di Drachten.
