La funivia Solda all'Ortles conduce dalla stazione a valle nei pressi di Solda in Val Venosta alla stazione a monte del rifugio Schaubachhütte a 2610 m sul livello del mare, dove fornisce l'accesso al comprensorio sciistico di Madritsch.
La nuova funivia è entrata in funzione il 21 novembre 2003. Ha praticamente lo stesso percorso della funivia a due sezioni costruita da Agudio nel 1975, che è stata demolita.
