L'abbazia territoriale di Montecassino è una sede della Chiesa cattolica in Italia immediatamente soggetta alla Santa Sede, appartenente alla regione ecclesiastica Lazio. Nel 2016 contava 13 battezzati su 13 abitanti. È retta dall'abate Donato Ogliari, O.S.B.
Fino al 2014 l'abbazia territoriale di Montecassino comprendeva 53 parrocchie per un totale di circa 80.000 battezzati e si estendeva nella parte sud orientale del Lazio e nell'estremo nord della Campania, nei comuni di Cassino , Castelnuovo Parano, Cervaro, San Giorgio a Liri, Pignataro Interamna, San Vittore del Lazio, Sant'Andrea del Garigliano, Sant'Ambrogio sul Garigliano, Sant'Apollinare, Vallemaio, Viticuso, Acquafondata, Vallerotonda, Sant'Elia Fiumerapido, Atina, Belmonte Castello, Villa Latina, in provincia di Frosinone e Rocca d'Evandro e San Pietro Infine in provincia di Caserta.
