L'Accademia Aeronautica è un istituto militare per la formazione degli ufficiali dell'Aeronautica Militare. La sede è posta nel comune di Pozzuoli al confine con il comune di Napoli. Ha il compito di preparare "giovani ufficiali dai saldi principi morali, motivati ed in possesso delle qualità personali, militari e professionali necessarie per ben operare al servizio del Paese". È la più giovane accademia militare italiana, ma tra le più antiche accademie aeronautiche nel mondo, avendo iniziato le attività nel 1923.
