Il golfo di Manfredonia è un'ampia insenatura del mare Adriatico meridionale, compresa tra il promontorio del Gargano a nord e la foce del fiume Ofanto a sud.
La fascia litoranea del golfo, estesa per oltre 60 km, si presenta rocciosa a settentrione, con suggestivi strapiombi sul mare, e sabbiosa nel settore centro-meridionale, con presenza di paludi salmastre.
In esso sfociano i fiumi Candelaro, Cervaro e Carapelle, mentre l'unico lago d'acqua dolce è il lago Salso, alimentato dal Cervaro. Dei centri urbani che sorgono sul golfo, l'omonima città di Manfredonia è quello di maggior rilievo.
