Lungo centinaia di curve, spesso in alta quota si va dall'hotel boutique Aurora, Via dell'Apollinare 3, 06049 Spoleto PG, Italia per lasciare l'Umbria e terminare via Lazio nella davvero idilliaca Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Abruzzo, Italia. Borgo medievale situato a 1250 metri dal Parco Nazionale Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga. Le vaste bellezze naturali lungo il percorso ma sicuramente anche le tracce ancora visibili del terremoto del 2009 ti rendono umile.

Consiglio: nel ristorante la Conca di Amatrice dovete ovviamente assaggiare gli spaghetti alla Matriciana preparati dall'85enne chef Claudio.

A proposito, c'è assolutamente un solo posto dove è possibile passare la notte nel villaggio e questo è Sextantio, un hotel le cui autentiche camere medievali conservate sono distribuite su tutto il villaggio (sextantio.it/santostefano/abruzzo)
