Ogre è un comune della Lettonia appartenente alla regione storica della Livonia di 39.117 abitanti .È situato 36 km ad est della capitale Riga, alla confluenza della Daugava con il fiume Ogre. Ha ottenuto lo status di città nel 1928.Ogre è composta da tre parti: Jaunogre , Ogre , e Pārogre .
