Il Castello di Horn è uno dei più antichi, ancora intatti castelli medievali a mura circolari nei Paesi Bassi.
Il castello è stato costruito su un rialzo naturale in una vecchia ansa del Mosa. Fu costruito nel tredicesimo secolo come un castello irregolarmente rotondo con quattro torri rotonde.
Attorno al castello si estende un bellissimo parco. In questo parco, accanto al castello ci sono anche una fattoria del castello, un porcile, un abitazione per il personale con annesso magazzino, un grande magazzino e una rimessa. Sia gli edifici che il parco sono monumenti nazionali.
Il Castello di Horn è visitabile?
Il castello è di proprietà privata e quindi non è visitabile liberamente. Il parco è invece sempre accessibile ai passeggiatori.
