Il Volkspark è un parco a Enschede risalente al 1872. È il più antico Volkspark dei Paesi Bassi, fondato secondo il modello inglese. Un legato di Hendrik Jan van Heek ha reso possibile l'allestimento del parco su un ex patrimonio Goolkate. La maggior parte è stata progettata nello stile paesaggistico inglese da Dirk Wattez, progettista di molti giardini in Twente. Caratteristici del lavoro di Wattez sono, tra l'altro, i laghetti serpentinati fortemente sinuosi. Suo figlio Pieter ha restaurato gran parte del suo lavoro, utilizzando anche assi di vista.
