Strijbeek è un villaggio nel comune di Alphen-Chaam, nella provincia olandese del Noord-Brabant. Il 1° gennaio 2021 il villaggio contava 345 abitanti. In passato Strijbeek apparteneva al comune di Ginneken e Bavel e dal 1942 al 1996 al comune di Nieuw-Ginneken. Il nome Strijbeek potrebbe derivare da Strijdbeek, ovvero un torrente per il quale si combatteva. Strijbeek si trovava al confine tra la Baronia di Breda e il Paese di Hoogstraten. La lotta potrebbe quindi riguardare un conflitto di confine, ma anche i mulini ad acqua, la manutenzione del torrente, e così via. È curioso che il torrente, da cui Strijbeek trae il suo nome, oggi sia noto come Strijbeekse Beek. Questo forma attualmente il fiume di confine tra Paesi Bassi e Belgio.
