Vroomshoop è un paese nel comune di Twenterand nella provincia olandese di Overijssel e fa parte della regione di Twente.
Il paese è stato fondato intorno al 1850, ma già nel 1772 il nome Vroomshoop viene menzionato per la prima volta. Il paese si trova lungo il canale di Overijssel, nel punto in cui il ramo Zwolle - Vroomshoop termina nel ramo del canale Almelo-De Haandrik. Il canale è stato aperto il 5 settembre 1856. Il percorso Vroomshoop - Zwolle è stato aperto il 12 giugno 1855. Il primo tipo di ponte era un ponte galleggiante o scholle.
