Caratteristico del Boschetto di Kralinge è la sua posizione attorno al Lago di Kralinge. L'area è di circa 200 ettari ed è delimitata da Kralingse Plaslaan, Kralingseweg, Bosdreef e Boszoom; è anche conosciuta con il nome di Kralingerhout. La metà della superficie è composta da acqua, l'altra metà da bosco e prati. Lungo il lago ci sono alcune strutture ricettive e due mulini. C'è un porto per velieri e attorno al Lange Pad si trovano campi di atletica. La spiaggia ricreativa è molto frequentata in estate.
