Il Merwedebrug è un ponte stradale fisso sull'A27 al chilometro 956,90 sopra il Boven-Merwede tra Gorinchem e Sleeuwijk. L'altezza di passaggio è NAP + 13,50 m. Lato nord, nel ponte è presente un ponte levatoio, la cui larghezza è di 30 metri e l'altezza in posizione chiusa è di NAP + 11,90 m.
È un ponte a doppio arco unico nei Paesi Bassi e rappresenta un importante collegamento tra le province dell'Olanda Meridionale e del Brabante Settentrionale. Il ponte è lungo 780 metri con due archi della lunghezza di 170 metri ciascuno. In continuità con il ponte, sul lato nord si trova un viadotto di accesso lungo 550 metri sopra il Canale di Steenenhoek e la linea ferroviaria Gorinchem - Dordrecht. Il ponte è stato inaugurato il 15 marzo 1961 dalla regina Giuliana.
