L'Hotel De Wereld è un hotel nella città olandese di Wageningen, nella provincia di Gelderland. Il 5 maggio 1945, il generale canadese alleato Charles Foulkes, in questo hotel, diede agli occupanti tedeschi gli ordini per la ritirata delle forze armate tedesche dai Paesi Bassi, dopo la resa dei tedeschi. La resa delle forze armate tedesche si era verificata il 4 maggio 1945 nella Lüneburger Heide in Germania per mano dell'ammiraglio Von Friedeburg davanti al feldmaresciallo Montgomery. La capitolazione è entrata in vigore il 5 maggio 1945 alle 08:00.
