Kantens è un villaggio nel comune di Het Hogeland nella provincia di Groninga nei Paesi Bassi. Era il capoluogo del comune omonimo che nel 1990 è stato assorbito nel comune di Hefshuizen, ora Het Hogeland.
Il villaggio è costruito su e attorno alla Kantsterwierde e si trova lungo il Boterdiep. Il villaggio conserva ancora il suo originale ossengang e una strada attorno alla chiesa risalente a circa 1200 al punto più alto della wierde. La chiesa, in gran parte romanica, ha un campanile ottagonale sostenuto da un grande contrafforte con passaggio. Sul bordo della wierde si trova il mulino a vento e a pelare la Grande Geert.
