Il Lage Raam è un torrente ecologico di pianura che scorre dalla Peel fino al pompaggio Van Sasse. Attraverso questo pompaggio, l'acqua scorre verso il fiume Mosa. Circa sei chilometri prima della foce, il Lage Raam si unisce al Peelkanaal per raccogliere, alcune centinaia di metri più avanti, anche il Biestgraaf. Da qui fino alla foce, il fiume si chiama: Graafse Raam. A Escharen viene anche incorporato l'Hoge Raam e a Grave l'Hertogswetering, dopo di che l'acqua è nota come Nieuwe Raammond.
